Tremendous staff and vets, a huge asset to our community. Their kindness and compassion shows very clearly in the way they examine and care for our pets. They are all very informed and keep on top of the newest innovations in veterinary medicine and care. A tremendous asset to our community and to "my pack"! Thank you for all you do!
Wonderful care. While on vacation, our dog injured . The vet assistant, Eden, was calming to our dog, explained everything she was doing and why it was important. Dr. Drew was extremely confident in evaluating and diagnosing. He also offered excellent advice. We were so relieved that the cost was so reasonable. Thank you, Dr. Drew, Eden, and the front desk ladies!
December 2016 - Our 12 year old Siamese cat Skye was brought into Martin's Point Veterinary Hospital and diagnosed with feline diabetes. The doctor and staff were so compassionate and thorough in examining and testing her. They offered us several options for treatment and we selected the best option for Skye and us. We know the prognoses for Skye is not good but we will care for her as best we can knowing that Martin's Point will be available should we need them. Martin's Point has been taking care of our cats for over 10 years and we couldn't be more satisfied. We trust Martin's Point Veterinary Hospital with our animal's health and lives and are so grateful for the care they've provided over the years.
September 2017 - After several months and various treatments, Skye developed Diabetic Neuropathy and her organs began to shut down. We were unaware of this problem, although we knew that she was getting worse. After a really bad weekend, we called Martin's Point and they took her in immediately. All day long they tried various methods to get her body to respond. When we went to pick her up, Rachel explained the seriousness of her illness. We weren't ready for the news but she so compassionately guided us through the process.
Terrific facility and staff. Everyone is very friendly and experienced. I felt that the entire group was focused on the best interests of me and my dogs. I recommend them highly.
Maggie suffered a serious bout of diarrhea where she lost considerable blood with her bowel movements and was dehydrated. I immediately called Martin's Point that allowed me to bring her immediately in for observation and treatment. They performed every test necessary and sent out to a lab for a complete blood work that would evaluate all organs. She was hydrated through an IV and prescribed medication. Following her recovery the office call after the weekend to make sure she had responded and was okay. About two weeks later I received another call to make sure she continued to do well. Truly outstanding veterinarian. Professional, expert personnel and very considering of your pet.
It has been some time now and we will be forever grateful of Rachel's professionalism, compassion and understanding. The whole staff was so kind to us, even sending us a card after our loss. It was much appreciated. We miss Skye but we have beautiful memories of our time with her. She was fourteen. We rescued her from a shelter when she was about four. Her first life was hard, but we gave her many good years, thanks to Martin's Point Veterinary care and advice. We are forever indebted.
