BLOOD ON SHEETS, MAJOR APPLIANCES BROKEN, AND BRINDLEY BEACH DOES NOTHING!!! WARNING!!!
Brindley Beach has been the worst realty company I have ever dealt with in my family's 17 years of vacationing at the Outer Banks. Upon arrival at the rental house, we realized nothing had been cleaned since the previous renter. There was sand everywhere, food in the beds, and BLOOD ON THE SHEETS. We immediately contacted Brindley Beach who sent out the cleaning company a second time; only the dirty sheets were removed, nothing was cleaned on their second trip. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean everything ourselves late at night so we could lie down to sleep. In addition, the tv in the great room did not work at all, and only one dishwasher worked. With 13 people, you need two dishwashers (two were advertised in the listing), and it was a huge disappointment to not be able to gather together at nights or on poor-weather days and watch a movie or tv. Repairmen were called out in the beginning of our first week. The dishwasher repairman(from Home Depot) said he had been continually called to repair the same dishwasher since June(four months prior to our arrival) and keeps informing the realty company that a part needs to be ordered to fix it; they won't approve it. The tv repairman said this has been his third repair call for that tv, and every time he informs the realty company that the tv cannot be repaired. Brindley Beach knew about all the broken items, yet still advertised them in the listing. Nothing was fixed before our two weeks was up, the realty company has refused to reimburse us in any capacity, and we urge future renters to STAY AWAY FROM BRINDLEY BEACH!!!

I’ve been renting through WPM for almost 2 decades. I’ve enjoyed it enough to keep coming back to the same house, sometimes more than once in a given summer. WPM and the Mr. Perry, the property owner should certainly take credit along with the views and good vibe; the success of their working partnership is evident, and their personal attention is appreciated. WPM has always been very accommodating, responsive, flexible and considerate of our family’s needs. The oceanfront property I visit has been subject to intense abuse from the elements, and has still continually improved after every setback. Overall, my experience has always been refreshing. (Now if only I could buy that place, then I’d get to continue the tradition).
The location is ideal, especially for the low rental price of this house! And the lot size is so big that you don't feel like the neighbors are right on top of you. There is plenty of parking. If the owners would do something to clean up the storage and laundry area downstairs, we would rent this house again.
We never felt this way with WPM. Needless to say we will be looking for a new rental company to use for our vacations!
I called on Friday to request a late check out for Saturday. I told the lady that we were inconvenienced at check in, so thought they could possibly budge an hour on check out(1 hr can make a big difference when you have little ones). She was incredibly rude....said they don't do late check outs AND they don't guarantee a check in time of 4pm...so they took no responsibility for us having to wait around for THEM to do a horrible cleaning! Funny how the rules don't apply to them..only to us. There are ways to say things that aren't rude, but still be sympathetic.

Loyal customer/renter of WPM for years. Brindley has destroyed our experience. All the staff except for Tracey were sooo rude. Hard to believe this company can run like this. Notice all the reviews since they took over are 1 star. We were not able to check into our place until 1hr15min after the 4pm check-in...really hard after traveling with 3 kids to not be able to get in. No sympathy or apologies from staff except Tracey seemed to feel bad....others could care less. Condo was not cleaned well...floors very dirty and NOT mopped (house hardwood throughout ). Haven't been mopped in ages. Roaches where everywhere in kitchen along with their fecal matter & eggs.
I would be very concerned if your an owner and use this company for management. They WILL drive your customers away.
This was our first rental through this company and we will most likely use them again, now that we know what to expect. First of all, the house was NOT clean when we arrived: there was sand on the floors and on the furniture, plus trash left by previous occupants. I called the office and they did send someone to clean. Second, there are NO supplies in the house - you have to take everything with you. We have rented through other companies and have always had basic supply -- take your own paper and cleaning products. Third, the lower level where the washer and dryer are is full of mold, mildew, and smells awful, and the smell comes up into the bathroom upstairs.
