While on vacation, my 3 year old son fell, knocked his chair over into a window, breaking it, and cut his arm. We are thankful it wasn't worse! But his laceration did require attention. I am a MD and was worried about him needing medical attention away from home without access to my office and staff that I know personally. However the care he reviewed at this urgent care clinic was wonderful. Specifically his nurse, Ben, helped to put him at ease, taking the time to find out his favorite color when selecting his bandage, and singing the theme song from his favorite show. And we appreciated the thoughtful care from Rikki, the PA that sutured his laceration. She did a wonderful job and was very attentive towards my son. We were in and out of the facility within 50 minutes and the whole experience was as painless as it could have been. I will not hesitate to return to this clinic, should the need arise, during the rest of our vacation.
I have been to this urgen care facility on two occasions. Both times were very positive. The treatment I received was professional and caring. As an OBX local, I'm so glad they are available and work in conjunction with my primary care physician.
I understood it was walk in, first come first serve but two hours in the waiting room then another hour waiting in the exam room. The ER would have been faster. They need more help.
This place is a JOKE!!!! and it's been over an hour I ha e been in this room and no one has even come in I would never reccomend this place to anyone...would have been better off staying in bed
The entire staff was great. Very attentive to my issue. They made it quick and painless, even though I had to get a shot.
