We used to vacation here from 1967 to 1978 - I read that it's closed - does anyone know why? Are the DeLoatch's still alive?
We have been in Charlie's Family RV Park since 2015. Terrific family atmosphere and walking distance to the beach! We have met a lot a great people and reunited with a few that I haven't seen since high school. Small world.
Our family used to stay here back in the early 70’s. Owner Charlie and family were wonderful. We looked forward to seeing them every summer. Glad to see it’s still there. Such great memories!
Recently,I seen that they're not that many trailers left due to increase in value of the land. I don't know how much it would cost to rent or live there. But if money's no object to you, you will love it there it's across from the road to get to the beach bring the kids and create some memories down at Kitty Hawk Trailer/RV Park in North Carolina.
