Place is great. Beer selection is outstanding. Staff...not so much; but they were busy being the day before thanksgiving.
Extremely unique takes on bistro classics with a coastal influence. Every dish was delicious: crab pot pie, jerk shrimp tacos, onion soup, stuffed mushrooms, Mac and cheese, cobbler. Sensible portions, bordering on tapas style. Casually paced but very good service (for lunch).
I was super excited to come here and have a date with my husband. I read all the reviews and was pretty hype, we love craft beers and sampling wine and the concept of this place was appealing to us! While our experience wasn't awful, we felt very unwelcome there. It was really loud from the live band (they weren't bad just loud) and the poor hostess was trying to help us since we had never been. She directs us to the bar, which is super full. We were just standing there not knowing what to do, a server came up to us and asked us what we were here to do and we said sample wine beer and some cheese platers! She took my card and gave us a card to go to the wine bar but we didn't get to sample anything else. After a bit a few spots from the bar opened up and my husband and I started to walk over only to be pushed by some locals who went and sat at the bar. We gave up trying to get a seat at the bar and paid our tab and left feeling a bit disappointed. I wish it was a bit more organized, but the wine was great.
In the store, which occupies the same space: Mind-blowing wine and cheese selections for purchase and a very respectable beer choice on tap. Would expect this kind of shop in a city of 1 million plus. Will definitely return.
Great place for a meal or a snack. They have one of the best wine bars and beers on tap in the area. Nice atmosphere and servers as well! Another "must try".
I absolutely love this place! The employees are so knowledgeable about all things and so nice! Good is amazing, beer is fantastic, wine is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting!
