Love the happy hour food. We love sitting up on the top deck but the last few times we have gone it's to crazy up there with only the lone bartender to fend for herself and the crowded space. We have had to move to down stairs twice now to get service. Will we go again yes I'm a local and love it to much to let it stop me.
Happy hour here is awesome. Tacos (a buck each), wings (.35 each), and shrimp (.15 each this visit) are cheap eats. We had the shrimp only and they were excellent. I had a burger which was fine. Mom had popcorn shrimp, which she said were maybe the best she's had, and Dad had the fried flounder dinner, which he said was excellent. The only problem was the extra 40 shrimp I ordered (they come in lots of 20-- I'm not that big of a pig), which I bravely had to take care of as dessert. Two things to consider... this place is very popular, especially in-season, so coming early is a good idea, and it is dominated by two bars (one indoor and one outdoor)-- I don't say that as a problem, but it can get loud sometimes not the most family oriented. We've been here many times and always very good food and a nice beach atmosphere. One slight ding, very light on the gluten-free menu items if that's a consideration for you.
One of my favorite restaurants in North Carolina. Happy hour (3-5 PM, wings and shrimp) cannot be beat and neither can the rest of their food. Waitstaff is usually polite and they handle the big summer rushes with skill. I would suggest going any time of year, but the off-season is when it is pretty much the least busiest. (Nov-Mar)
Amazing food. Friendly staff. Good eat for a local establishment. Love it here prices are perfect. And the art work in the restaurant are amazing
I was so glad someone suggested we go here. The wings we great. We happened to go on a $0.30 wing night and it was a deal. I don't think they have a lot of sauces to select from but the flavor of the one they gave us was outstanding.
